Viral Inbound Link Tactic Helps SEO?

Building valid XHTML/CSS templates is an excellent way to create viral inbound linking campaigns. This may or may not improve your overall PageRank, but at least it is an effective method for gaining site exposure and inbound links.

Once you’ve created your template and upload it to FREE download sites, you are placing your link in front of every single person who downloads it.

If they follow the rules and keep your link within the pages, then every visitor to their site may discover your link. The search engine spiders will find it, that’s for sure. If another webmaster visits their site and likes your design, they may even look to see who designed the template.

This is an inbound link tactic that, but it is the overall effect is a litle like branding.  SEO is still important and PageRank is still as important as ever, but social branding has gained enough strength it is equally as important in the over all marketing efforts.  Designing and creating templates for the world is one way to establish inbound links and personal exposure.

If you are not so web savvy you can create your own templates you can always hire someone to do this for you.  You can freelance the entire project if you wish, or you can freelance parts of the project.  It depends on your talents and determination to create templates.  I will be offering a number of video’s on how to create your own graphics and I’ll be offering courses on how to design and create your own templates.

If you possess the abilty to apply this technique, you might find in the long run this is one of the more successful tacts you can execute.

Social branding?  When you subscribe to a new YouTube user for example, that YouTube user will often be curious as to who you are.  Who just subscribed to my site?  They will go look.  The same human behaviour behind this will also happen in your templates.
